Nice to meet you!
My name's Tyler. I'm a writer both by trade and by passion. So far, my career has been oriented around writing copy for anyone from small, local businesses to large, national brands you've probably bought something from at some point. But that's just how I pay the bills.
In my free time, I try to write thoughtful, empathetic reflections about life, mental health, and (mostly Christian) spirituality on the other side of a sort of "deconstruction."
While those reflections are supported by some serious work – I have a Masters in Theology, and I've personally dealt with mental illness (with the help of therapy) for much of my life – my goal is not to write "academically." I write from my own experiences and perspective, and I try to be as vulnerable as I can, because that's the kind of writing that has impacted me over the years.
If you're taking the time to read my writing, I just want to say thank you. It means a ton to me to be able to connect with strangers around the globe about the stuff that's so central to my reality. It makes me feel less alone, and I hope it does the same for you.
Grace and peace, my friends!
